The Aztec Calendar in downtown El Paso is one of three replicas of the original Aztec Calendar of ancient Tenochtitlan. The historical, cultural, social and economic value of this monument is valuable and worth restoration. The El Paso Community utilizes Calendar Park and the Aztec Sun Stone placed there for educational purposes, cultural events, and ceremonies. Restoration is essential to the integrity of the Calendar, the City and its Citizens.
