Who are we kidding? Detroit is more or less Gotham City brought to life. By changing the name, my hope is to create a revitalized interest in the city by businesses, investors, and new residents. The name change will undoubtedly boost international tourism. In the best case scenario, there is also an off-chance that the name change will attract a wealthy, selfless billionaire vigilante to be the hero the city needs and deserves.
