Mr, an intact Mastiff Cross, was seized along with his sister Mrs, in Nov. , 2014 and Mr. has been in custody  ever since at Coquitlam Animal Control.  The City sought a Destruction Order  for him because he grabbed and shook a small dog, which unfortunately killed the dog. Mr. was in a pack situation at the time and was also likely in pain due to ear infection and undescended testicle which causes ongoing discomfort  and medical problems. After a 4 day trial in court, Mrs. was released . The Judge  gave Mr.   a dangerous dog designation , but he said that euthanizing Mr. was a last resort and  a good home should be found for him. His execution date is Mar. 21/16. The Animal Control of Coquitlam refuse to pay $1800 in medical fees to ensure Mr. is much more adoptable.  He was found by an expert trainer to be responsive and friendly.
