As the City of Columbia continues to grow, young families are increasingly becoming the backbone of our community. A zoo would provide facilities, economic output, conservation education, tourism, and the community we desire. Participating as a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums will ensure that all animals will have been rescued, not taken from the wild. Partnering with the University of Missouri agricultural department would allow access to greater resources and further educate our community. We demand a Zou!
