As a resident of Bowness, I have experienced the strong inconveniences that the water main break has had on myself and other members of the community. Our energy bills will be higher due to the boiling we had to do, and not having clean water (and no water for a short period for some of us) has had a negative impact on our physical and mental wellness. The extra time needed to engage in simple, taken-for-granted tasks has also had an impact on our economic standing.

The City of Calgary should be providing financial support to Bownesians for these negative financial and health impacts. Sign this petition if you agree!
