The Imperial Valley has multiple animal shelters/pounds saving the lives of animals every single day of the year. However, the City of Calexico Animal Shelter/Pound has been unable to change its kill policy. 

Innocent animals are being euthanized after a certain period of time if they are not rescued. 

It is time to put an end to these acts and make sure Calexico becomes a no-kill shelter rather than a pound like the rest of the Imperial Valley.

(Keep in mind it is not the workers’ faults— they are following the rules of the shelter in order to continue to take care of these animals as long as they can.)
