There are the most car accidents on Seneca st between Cazenovia and Knorel/Hayden than most other areas lately. The traffic lights are spaced too far apart. By the time they reach Weyand or Geary, they are usually driving upwards of 45+ mph when the speed limit is 30 mph. This obviously creates a very dangerous situation. Myself and my surrounding neighbors have children who's lives are at risk just walking outside. The severe car accident involving the Parked Escalade XL and the small silver car on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, was my Escalade and my front lawn. The pedestrian that was hit is in critical condition currently. If not for the fence, my truck would have fully rolled into the lot next door. There have been more accidents than I can count in this area since I bought the house 7-8 years ago. Not to mention the close calls of other potential accidents. PLEASE help make this area a little more safe again by adding a Stop Sign or Stop Light at this intersection.
