Hello as most of you know, Denver and aurora has a ban on allowing pitbulls into city limits. The ban has been around since 1987. The facts are that these dogs are a reflection of their owners, they are not born aggressive. For the last 3 decades, we have been allowing the city to kill thousands of these dogs and have forced many of families to move away because of this ban. People are getting fined just because they own a pitbull. It is time to get this ban lifted. We failed really hard in 2014 and in 2015 we got closer, now that 2016 is here, we can stand and get the word out to everyone moving to denver/aurora from other states. Please lets make a change. We also have to remember this is step one of two. This is to get it on the ballot but we need people in the aurora and denver areas to VOTE at the end of the year. Step 2 is the most important part. I know we can do it. We have to get people in our cities more aware. Punish the deed not the breed.
