Esther Manheimer has turned her back on our city and she has now turned her back on our own Police Dept. On 6/21/20 people were allowed to deface a million dollar park by painting defund the police on the street. On 6/2/2020 Police were instructed to destroy what was later referred to as a medic tent. The items destroyed which were water bottles had been repeatedly used as weapons towards the police for several nights of protests that were anything but peaceful. Later the police were blamed for destroying medical supplies. A video shows random supplies all over the ground and the police destroying water bottles. I personally have yet to see proof of police destroying actual medical supplies. Our fire department has requested that the starting pay for a firemen be increased from $11.65 an hour to $15.00 per hour. Esther believes that since the firemen sleep at the fire station they aren’t deserving of a living wage. The mayor of our town has turned her back on the police, the fire department and the citizens. She needs removed from office before she completely destroys our town.
