My cat came home covered in anti climb paint that has suddenly been put on neighbouring walls. I have been in my house 33 years and all my cats use the terraced walls to roam as cats do. It has just cost me £480 in vet bills because my cat obviously tried to clean herself not to mention the stress on her having to be washed  and the condition of my house.  It then happened to another 2 of my cats the people responsible for it said they have a legal right to do it but what about my right to let my cats out. I cant suddenly after 10 years of my cats being free lock them in. And we get lots of wild birds on the walls what about them. I was told by those responsible that the paint isn't toxic but according to vets it can damage a cats kidneys if ingested. Those responsible  said the data sheet says its not toxic. But it actually says "no known significant effects or critical hazards", then says "if ingested seek medical advise immediately and show container or label . Keep person warm and at rest. Do NOT induce swallowing'  if thats for a human it must cause problems for cats and birds. It definitely  does NOT say none toxic.  I want people to help me get this stuff banned.  Cats and birds have rights too. It is so horrible it is like wet tar.
