We are a future pig family, and I am trying to gain support of the community to help show that Pot belly and mini pigs aren't dangerous, they dont smell, and when trained, make GREAT pets! Although I haven't added a pig to my family yet, I would love to!... but my city has an ordinance banning "swine" from living in the city limits. So, I am asking all my neighbors, friends, fellow pig parents to sign my petition to have the ordinance amended to allow "mini" pigs to live within city limits as a PET. Since potbellied pigs aren't regulated by the USDA because they're not a food source, the only definition that describes a mini pig is a pet or companion animal. I am asking for support to take to the city council so they can see how amazing these creatures are, and hopefully this will paint a better picture of pet pigs, and the council members can amend the current ordinance to allow mini pigs to live in pig educated homes, like mine!
