Our current mayor, Adrian Perkins, ran on wanting to do great things for Shreveport.

To date his policies have been very inept and cost the city money. He has poor understanding of what is required to run the city, how could he even think he could help run the country! He has not even been Mayor for  2 years and is running for a US Senate position with little thought about Shreveport. So much for Shreveport and his acceptance speech and what he wanted to do here. He just used the Shreveport Mayor job as a quick step to get into politics. His poor management style has him running for the hills and a new job. I firmly believe he will not win the Senate seat and I as a citizen of Shreveport, I did vote for him, do not want him for mayor anymore!!!!
