Mayor Patty Eidman is not only an elitist but she also uses her position of power to belittle and drive minority citizens of Lansing, IL out of the village. In her attempts to control the population, she illustrates entitlement by any means necessary. Including but not limited to degrading, intimidating, and bullying electors of Lansing, IL. 

As her position has put her in a place of power, the larger hypocrisy has come to light. An individual who is quick to point out the flaws and violations of another but commits double those have no other definition other than a hypocrite. The abuse of her authority makes her unfit to sit in this office as a mayors chief role is to oversee the city's main department, including the police, fire, education, housing and transportation departments. 

The individual we need in charge should possess the opposite of the qualities Mayor Eidman has. Being a mayor is more than taking publicity photos for Facebook and only focusing on Foxpointe as a place to hangout. We need a mayor who actually cares about the people-including their minorities, and has decency and respect for their citizens since they are a representation of the entire village. Why should the we the people of Lansing live under a mayor who degrades, intimidates, and bullies their own electors? We need a mayor to represent all, encourage a neighborly and friendly atmosphere, create a positive gain in the community. Instead, we have a mayor who uses her position to benefit herself and herself only and it is time that Lansing makes a change. We the citizens of Lansing, IL need to stand together to make the change we want to see. That starts with the recall of Mayor Patty Eidman.
