We, the below signed citizen of Keokuk, Iowa, demand that the Keokuk City Council, Mayor of Keokuk, and the Keokuk City Manager make no laws or policies that restrict citizen with mental or physical disabilities from living in any neighborhood in the City of Keokuk that are not already remedied by law. We also ask that the Keokuk City Council, Mayor of Keokuk, and the Keokuk City Manager investigate any and all companies that seek to provide home and community based services or home rehabilitation services to ensure they have the ability to provide services to each individuals care plan and are providing employees that are qualified, trained, and knowledgeable to the specific individuals they serve based on the level of care they require as outlined by the State of Iowa.
