This Petition is in favor of demanding that the City of Saint Paul and the Listening House immediately cease any construction and freeze any public funds related to the Listening House’s proposed location at 421 East Seventh Street. The City of Saint Paul coordinated placing a day shelter for unhoused persons at 421 East Seventh Street and gave the project a $1.4 million forgivable loan in taxpayer dollars without proper public notice and without a true public hearing. Your signature is a message to the City and Listening House that they got it wrong when they tried to place a living room of the streets in your neighborhood without notice, public input, or restrictions.
