We, the undersigned, as residents of Daviess County, would like to thank the staff, the director, and the board of the Daviess County Public Library. They have shown tremendous courage and fortitude by standing up against public suggestions that they are "grooming children". A small percentage of the public has taken up these baseless charges and tried to limit access to books. We stand with the library in keeping our Library "public". We urge the Judge Executive and the Fiscal Court Commissioners to select and accept one of the KDLA recommendations for any open board position. The KDLA understands the needs of any Public Library and will recommend candidates that meet those needs.
