Improper waste disposal is still a big problem in our community, as this leads to many issues to the environment. Some people tend to ignore to properly dispose the waste they see, even if it's small in size, but they dont know that it greatly affects the environment that we live in. Clogged drainage systems results to flooding, contaminated areas can result to health issues, and the wastes contributes to the greenhouse gases that results to global warming. Not only that, but even the plants and animals are also affected by improper waste disposals as it heavily affects their habitat.

The "Go Clean and Green" campaign aims to educate citizens to be responsible and mindful of the waste they generate and to properly dispose of it to reduce the negative impact of incorrect segregation of wastes. It also aims to make people aware of any circumstances that may occur and the possibility of having an unhealthy environment.
