OK, so we're all complacent happy-go-lucky dopes who don't really understand the global workings of the Movie business or how expensive it is to maintain a website. Horseshit! I want the cinemas to stop ripping us off blind with those outrageous online booking fees. Village, for example charge a booking fee of $1 or a massive $5 for Gold class! Their justification? "This fee covers the administration, development and maintenance required to provide this convenient service to our customers." Horseshit! I mean we even have to take our own printout! How about Hoyts' justification, "You are also guaranteed seats for the session and cinema of your choice". I would have assumed that purchasing a ticket guaranteed you a seat! Hello, that doesn't make sense to me. Are the large Cinema chains any better than banks? It seems not. I love my movies and, like a lot of people would frequent the cinemas much more often if we weren't made to pay outrageous prices, then a booking fee to boot. This blatant price gouging needs to STOP.
