Cielito Lindo has been a family business that has not only brought family together, but people in the Lawrence community. After the creator, founder, amazing person who has made these beautiful memories and traditions alive sadly passed away, this amazing business has been stripped from its morals and the culture it was built from. Santiago, many of you know him as Santi, was supposed to take over this business but because of money hungry individuals, they are now in charge and the people, the family, you know and love at Cielito are being replaced. Many of us are still fighting to stay and fighting for this company who once deeply loved and cared for their customers, but losing power to do so. Little do they know, Cielito Lindo has created such a strong community to back them up. We created this petition to bring back what once was an amazing place and the workers we love to return to continue the legacy that is Cielitos. Santiago Zaragoza deserves full ownership of Cielito, as that is what his brother Nicho would have wanted. RIP Nicho, thank you for creating a beautiful establishment and with the help of the community you created, we WILL carry on your legacy.
