We are shocked to learn that LL BEAN, famous for its trendy products, is selling real fur (“mad bomber hats” for adults and children) imported from China. Surely you are unaware that fur animals in China suffer cruelty that makes a mockery out of human beings. Cats and dogs are boiled alive for fur, and other fur bearing animals are simply skinned alive. We beg you, please STOP selling torture to your customers many of whom are ignorant of the suffering inflicted on fur bearing animals and unknowingly purchase your offending merchandize. Fur animals in other countries, including the United States, do not fare any better in their short, miserable lives. They stay in tiny cages where they become deranged, self-mutilated until their brutal deaths by anal electrocution, gassing, and neck breaking. As long as you keep selling real fur, we the undersigned will not purchase your products, and will spread the word worldwide asking people to do the same. Your organization has a good reputation, please DO NOT damage it by promoting animal torture.
