One million or more Australians every year are disgusted that despite paying for parcels to be delivered to their homes, Australia Post and contract delivery staff fail them.  Every day 100's of thousands of Australians pay for items to be shipped to them when purchasing goods from businesses on the internet. All too often the parcels are not delivered ever though those Australians have paid $10s of dollars to have them delivered to their doors.

The contract delivery people just don't get paid enough to be able to afford to knock on the door and deliver the goods.  Instead, Australia Post and middle managers profiteer at the cost of customers, small and medium businesses and the delivery sub-contractors.

Australia Post Stop this rort and employ the delivery people in-house. Stop the middlemen profiteering at the expense of the individual workers who can not afford to deliver the parcels that have been paid for by small and medium business and their customers.

For 20-years I had parcels delivered to my front door until the delivery was outsourced to a shonky service who underpays their staff. For the last 8-years, I have had to driver 10 km to pick up parcels from the closest Australia Post office.

Give Australians a Fair Go, Stop Outsourcing Postal Delivery Services to subcontractors. Be 100% sure that delivery people and being paid a proper wage. Bring postal delivery personnel back in-house so they can do the job Australia Post has been paid for.
