CHRISTINA SHOULD STAY IN DK, DESPITE BEING 9 MONTHS TOO YOUNG FOR 24-YEAR RULE

CHRISTINA SHOULD STAY IN DK, DESPITE BEING 9 MONTHS TOO YOUNG FOR 24-YEAR RULE
The Issue
Recently, Christina and Jakob received a harsh letter from the Danish Immigration office giving Christina 2 weeks notice to pack up and return to the US due to her being 9 months too young for their 24-year requirement. This rule is unjust and stops Christina and Jakob from being together in their home in Denmark which they have lived in since August 2022. Christina and Jakob have been together since 2015, and have fought the long distance battle between the US and Denmark since they started dating. Now, they are married and have a home in Denmark, which Christina is being forced to leave with only 2 weeks to say goodbye to her husband, home, friends, and family and restart her life for 9 months in the US until she reaches the age of 23.5. Christina holds a bachelor in Early Childhood Education, which is an extreme need in Denmark as there are limited teachers. She is ready to work for the country and help with the teaching crisis. Jakob is studying computer science, another skill that is on Denmarks "Positive List", as it is very much in need. Will Denmark really send out the wife of a Danish Citizen who is not relying on the system for help at all and is studying in a field that Denmark is in need of? As well as let go of a young woman who is ready to work in a field of need? It seems unfair to not even consider this case due to the age requirement and not the actual facts from the situation. PLEASE SIGN AND HELP US CHANGE THE RULE AND SAVE JAKOB AND CHRISTINA FROM BEING TORN APART.
