Who in their right mind would abuse a poor defenseless cat or dog? Unfortunately, people of all ages abuse animals. This includes senior citizens, adults, teenagers and even children. Sadly, most animal abusers and killers are teenagers. Abused cats have been beaten and even killed by their owners. One cat was burned to death by teenagers. During my research, I read of two teens that killed a total of seventeen cats. One cat was put in a microwave and was killed. Another man killed his cat by hitting it with a rake. If this doesn’t make you feel sick, I don’t what else would. Dogs have been abused as well. Five puppies were thrown down into an outhouse hole. Luckily, someone walking by heard their pitiful whining and they were all rescued. One man killed his mother’s dog with a hammer. Another dog, named Rudy, was neglected and abused so badly that you could see every rib on the dog. God created all living creatures on earth with the same feelings. The feeling of pain, happiness, anger, depression etc. is the same for all.However, since animals and plants do not speak, we humans abuse them to such a great extent that if they could respond back, we would have suffered much more. Animals are being killed for more than the basic needs. Man kills animals for pleasures and monetary benefits like getting their skins, tusks, fur etc for his own pleasures and not considering the fact animals are also living beings. For scientific learning’s, animals are used on a large scale and they have to undergo great sufferings of pain and agony, just for the reason that they cannot respond back. no one has the right to kill defenceless animals so the only way to end all the suffering is for the law to change god bless all there we souls.
