Stop serving Foie Gras at Chiswick Gardens Cafe!

The Issue

Foie Gras is produced using a process called ‘Gavage’ which means force feeding geese to cause their livers to expand to around 6 times their normal size.  These livers are then considered a delicacy!

This practice is clearly inhumane, in fact the production of foie gras is banned in the U.K., yet the cafe claims that ‘ingredients are locally sourced and sustainable’

There is a foie gras ‘substitute’ which is made in GB but it is not and cannot be sold as foie gras.

please help me to get foie gras off the menu in our public space!
