Make all produce stickers biodegradable

Make all produce stickers biodegradable
The Issue
With this shift to the universal recycling of food-waste nutrients, we need to ensure the efficiency of our system for the betterment of humanity. That being said, one of the easiest steps to take on a commercial standpoint is ensuring that all labels & stickers on produce are biodegradable. The current situation is completely backwards; why put a little sticker on a product that will outlast the product by thousands of years? It’s absurd.
They're not edible, by the way
Even Vermont has taken the major necessary step of mandating composting of food scraps
With landfills being the largest dead-end of the nutrient cycle, composting has become more and more of a commercial necessity to ensure our global food supply has nutrients we all need to survive. In a world of highly commercialized food production, the soils are only amended with petroleum based nitrogen, leaving us, the unwilling participants of the bulk food production experiment deficient in essential nutrients. This is why we need to once again utilize the nitrogen cycle with our food waste instead of sending it all to the landfill, and remove corporate obstacles.
