The problem we are facing is the people of Yulin have a festival each year dedicated to torturing and killing dogs for food.  Over 5,000 dogs are being slaughtered and tortured to death and the people of Yulin are “challenged” to eat all dogs that were killed in 10 days.

There are a lot of reasons to end this horrific festival.

The Yulin Dog Meat Festival is a very dangerous food safety issue. The dogs are sold on the markets are sick and poisoned animals. They carry many diseases.

We appeal to you to act in the interest of public health, food safety, animal welfare. The Yulin Dog Meat Festival is a business operation that undermines the national and public interest. The Dog Meat Festival must end.
