There is a longstanding American racist legacy involving the stereotypical Chinese laundry. The phrase today therefore holds glaring racist implications. You changed your logo, so you must have some awareness of these implications. No company should be allowed to causelessly perpetuate a damaging and hurtful stereotype for profit. We call on you to change your name, because without any context, the phrase "Chinese laundry" is a relic of a history of racism against Asian immigrants and Asian Americans. Since the founders nor their families are Asian, we beseech you to please do your research and realize the absurdity of your company name and callousness of your brand.
