Subject : Scrap Unjust, Unwarranted, Illegal PMPML Bus Pass Rates Hike & Restart One Route Pass

PMPML hiked bus pass rates arbitrarily from 1st Sept 2017, totally unwarranted, unfair & without complying with Motor Vehicle Act provisions, resulting into adverse impact on lakhs of Bus Commuters, particularly weaker and priority sections of citizens like Senior citizens, students, unorganized lowest income class-house maids, nurses, ward boys, office boys, daily wage earners,self employed petty vendors etc.

Moreover bus pass hike encourages more personal motor vehicles on city roads, adding fuel to the draconian traffic woes in PMC & PCMC.

Requesting you to intervene and scrap the Bus Pass Rate Hike in the interest of lakhs of citizens of Pune.

Demands :

1. Senior Citizen Pass should be reverted to Rs 450
2. Student Pass should be reverted to Rs 600
3. General Monthly Pass should be reverted to Rs 1200
4. General Daily Pass should be reverted to Rs 50
5. Route Pass (Punching Pass) should be started again as before
6. Restart Weekly Pass
