Stop Physical Classes in Telangana - Pandemic is not yet over.

Stop Physical Classes in Telangana - Pandemic is not yet over.
The Issue
Telangana Parents Association for Child Rights and Safety (TPACRS) demands that the Telangana government should stop the orders allowing schools to conduct physical classes for all students across the state of Telangana including 10th and Intermediate.
The pandemic is not yet over and we are still seeing the increase number of COVID cases in India and Telangana is no exception to it. Our kids are an integral part of society and we cant afford to risk their health at this point of time. At least, we can have online mode of education for the lower grade students.
Most of the parents, are not willing to send their wards to schools just yet, and want to wait for a few weeks before making a decision. They are not ready to take risks as the COVID-19 cases continue and vaccines for children of all age groups are still not available.
TPACRS has received complaints and reports from parents across Telangana state that they are not ready yet. Will the government cover the medical expenses of the children, God Forbid, if they fell sick once the schools are reopen.
We demand that:
1. Telangana Government should immediately stop the physical classes across the state and come up with a phase-wise plan.
2. Allow the parents to decide if they want to send their children to school or avail online mode of education.
With this petition, we hope this move will help the parents, children and the society will benefit at large.
