We the Students of Engineering hereby bring to your kind notice through this petetion that our parents are not in a financial condition to pay the entire fees all at once.

Due to the corona pandemic everyone is facing economical crisis and hence we request for some rebate in the college fees.As it is well known that we are not using any of the college resources since past few months and won't be using them further till the opening of college.

Seeing the condition of our nation it can be totally drawn that college won't open for further 3 months.

We would like to ask few questions to Visvesvaraya Technological University aka VTU:

1. All the examinations taken in the following 3 months will be in online mode so why do we need to pay full Exam fees?

2. Since we won't be able to make use of labs,library,smart class,computer or any other electronic appliances,so we fail to understand why we have to pay same fees as last year?

3. Why do we need to pay full hostel fees even if we are not staying or using any of the hostel resources?

4. It's unfair for the colleges to demand fees under 'other' category even when we are paying for the mobile data being used in online classes.

Day by day the pandemic is spreading and many of us have family members who are unwell which adds upto the financial crisis so we really hope that there can be some provision regarding payment of fees in installments.

We have stated all of our grievances and hope that you will look into the matter sympathetically yet seriously.
