Casinos in Goa are in menace to Goa. They should be banned in Goa because:

• There is no Gaming Commission in Goa, inspite of promises made by successive govts. No one knows if the games played in the casinos are fair or they have been rigged in favor of the casinos. 
• Casinos in Goa are a haven for back money.
• Off Shore Casinos used to dump sewage in the rivers for which they have never been penalized. Locals say they still do it. But no government department is monitoring where these casinos dump their sewage.
• Casinos in Goa have ruined many people's lives and the lives of their families due to addiction. These people are not just from Goa but also from the rest of India.
• The Govts own Lawyer said in court that Casinos run on Hawala(laundered) money. Yet the Govt is silent on the issue. Is there a nexus between casinos , politicians and govt officials?

After all these facts, why would any State allow these dens of black money to operate? The Goa Government's excuse letting the casinos operate is that it generates revenue. But what good is the revenue if these casinos are destroying peoples lives and harming the image of Goa tourism.
