Dear All, Haryana Govt has been flooded with complaints/suggestions on the heavily diluted Draft RERA tabled by State Govt to help influential cheat builders-pl see the clipping attached. While the report just mentions 1700, we are 100% sure there will be several thousands more considering that the Govt was trying to punish tax paying honest home buyers and deny justice. Union Minister of State Mr Rao Inderjit Singh's letter sent to Haryana CM is most welcome and recognises the pain we are going through with projects stuck for several years for which we paid large money often financed by expensive bank loans. We hope the corrupt bureaucracy in Haryana reeling under cash/kinds largesse by the greedy builder community will recognise the anomalies, sense people's reactions and our Central Govt will not turn a blind eye and take appropriate steps. We appreciate Mr Arun Kr Gupta's (Principal Secretary, Town & Country Planning Department), Govt of Haryana statement that a revised and more inclusive RERA will be tabled soon.
