Dear All, This is a great initiative taken by Fight for RERA to highlight the precarious position of hundreds of thousands home buyers whose life time savings are at stake with fraudulent and cheat builders-matters have been escalated to PM. The Govt is urged not to give a longer rope anyway to builders whose empty cupboards and skeletons after misappropriation of millions of USD home buyers money may push things to beyond a salvation point-the Satyam case study and its take over by Mahindra Tech and recently UB Group Mr Vijay Mallaya's case studies or Sahara Group whose top end real estate posh township Amby Valley is being auctioned soon per SC directions to pay off cheated investors.Some like Jaypee seem to have come to terms with large asset sales to infuse Rs 1600 Crores(250 Mio USD) to complete pending home projects but there are several others who have no wherewithal of what to do ahead. In a democratic set up and the world's largest democracy as in India, if hundreds of thousands of innocent citizens are to be cheated and ruined, a watching and sleeping Govt only adds to our banana republic status.
