We the residents of Faridabad hereby request you that SunFlag hospital, which is situated in sector 16A Faridabad, should be converted into a Government civil hospital so that the increasing demand of medical facility can be appropriately met.

As we know that SunFlag hospital has not been functional since many years due to various reasons. In the meantime, ownership also changed hands and now finally it is with Government of Haryana. We also got to know that there is a possibility of handing over/selling out this hospital to some private buyer who will eventually convert it into a private hospital.

We hereby submit our humble request that this hospital be converted into a Government civil hospital so that the vulnerable section of society get proper medical treatment free of cost. This is urgently needed due to current Covid situation.

Please note that there is only one big civil hospital in the city (B.K. Hospital) which has a very limited bandwidth to provide quality medical treatment. This hospital was established several decades ago and after that the population of city has increased manifold. 

It is really a need of the hour to provide additional Government medical facility and converting the SunFlag hospital into a Government hospital would be a right decision at this right time.
