Help Singai people save their ancestral land from plundering by the Sarawak government. Already more than 12,000 hectares of their ancestral land have been robbed by the state government and given to state agencies, Yayasan Sarawak, FELDA, and to a few crony plantation companies. Singai people want their land back and want the state government to stop the rampant land-grab.

A writ of summons has been filed on 4th May, 2016, with the High Court in Kuching against the Sarawak state government, Land and Survey Dept, Yayasan Sarawak, FELDA and a few plantation companies.  The suit is filed by 13 Singai village heads (12 Ketua Kampongs and 1 Penghulu) who are the plaintiffs on behalf of the Singai people.

Now we need to raise funds for legal fees for the suit.  We also need funds for:

• survey and mapping services for mapping and documenting the encroached areas 
• maintaining security along the perimeter of the Singai land that has been encroached into by the defendants.

Koperasi Kemajuan Singai Bhd is the cooperative organization setup by the Singai people to be the caretaker of the Singai land that is the subject of the suit against the Sarawak state government and the other defendants.  It is managed by a Board of Directors elected by members of the cooperative.
