We call upon you to intervene to repeal the ban on Shezan Drinks.Lahore Bar Association has declared a ban on Shezan Drinks in the Bar Canteen, on the spurious grounds that Shezan is owned by an Ahmedi company. We believe that this ban is against the spirit of humanity and the integrity of the nation. This ban is based on nothing but hate and discrimination. It is your duty to uphold the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and therefore you must repeal this ban.

STOP DISCRIMINATION REPEAL LBA BAN OF SHEZAN MANGO JUICE

We call upon you to intervene to repeal the ban on Shezan Drinks.Lahore Bar Association has declared a ban on Shezan Drinks in the Bar Canteen, on the spurious grounds that Shezan is owned by an Ahmedi company. We believe that this ban is against the spirit of humanity and the integrity of the nation. This ban is based on nothing but hate and discrimination. It is your duty to uphold the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and therefore you must repeal this ban.

The "ban" that the Lahore Bar Association has placed on serving Shezan products at the LBA Canteen is shameful and disgusting to say the least. By banning products that are made by companies owned by Ahmedis, the LBA has alienated the Pakistani Ahmedi community and has started something unnecessary and cruel. We urge you to use your powers to stop this ban so that Ahmedis are not discriminated against and persecuted so shamelessly in our society. They are, and should be treated, as equal citizens under the Constitution, which you as lawyers are bound to uphold.

N.B. According to a news report the Lahore Bar Association President Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali has clarified that he has not issued any directions to the canteens attached with the lower courts in Lahore to stop selling Shezan juice. He said that the resolution has to be approved by the LBA’s general council to become effective. According to the LBA President, "The general council would decide the matter whenever it is convened next. Till then, there is no ban."

If such a resolution is presented at the LBA general council, we expect that the honourable general council members to throw it out with the contempt it deserves.

We to continue to condemn the call by the Khatm-i-Nabuwwat Lawyers’ Forum (KNLF) to ban Shezan. We call on the LBA President and other lawyers' bodies to clearly condemn such discriminatory moves and to hold those bar members accountable who fan the flames of bigotry and hatred.
