The legal community, the civil community, and the residents of palm beach county are urging the 15th Judicial Circuit to take quick, aggressive, and effective measures to reduce the community spread of COVID-19. 

On March 16, 2020, the Surgeon General of the United States stated “We are at a critical inflection point in this country, people. We are where Italy was two weeks ago in terms of our numbers.”  We need to do our immediate part in reducing the exposure and spread in our community in these upcoming critical weeks. We are requesting the 15th Judicial Circuit take immediate action to protect our courthouse staff, lawyers , public , their families, and close the courthouse to the public and suspend all court that is not deemed an emergency proceeding.

The health and safety of our community has to be the upmost priority. As school districts close, business close, local and federal governments are urging Americans to practice social distancing, we need to ensure that all aspects of the community are taking effective measures to flatten the curve. Let’s do our part.
