When this petition first launched on Thursday, we had no idea what level of support there may be for our campaign to save the Vancouver wetlands from an inappropriate development. We have been truly overwhelmed by the numbers of people sharing our concerns. While the majority of support has, not surprisingly, come from within Australia (including every state and territory), it was the overseas support we didn't expect. Large numbers of you living in other counties share our concerns and for that we thank you. In fact, support has now come from over 50 counrties in all! 5,000 signatures seemed unlikely only a couple of days ago, but now we're beginning to wonder if it might be possible. It certainly won't be without your support, so I encourage you to dig deep for other contacts with whom you could share the link. Thanks again to every one of you. Ian
