Thanks so very much everybody for your support and the many thoughtful and encouraging comments you've posted about the impacts of the proposed resort development at Goode Beach. We have been thrilled with the response and having achieved 1,000 signatures this morning (Western Australian time), are now almost at 1,500! Your response has proved beyond doubt that this issue is of concern to a far wider audience than just the residents of Goode Beach, who number less than 250. So many of you have shared the link to the petition and we encourage you to keep it alive by thinking about who else from your networks may be as concerned as you (and the many others who have signed) are about potential harm to Lake Vancouver and the surrounding wetlands.
