As someone who was born and raised in the south, Chic-fil-a was a staple of my childhood. With great food, a friendly atmosphere, and an altogether safe place to enjoy while eating. I moved up north to Illinois after some time and was sadly, unable to enjoy that experience due to the lack of restaurants this far north. At the present time if anyone in the dekalb county area wants to get some of that delicious chicken, they would need to travel to 20 miles east to the nearest Chic-fil-a which is located in Batavia. This is not only a personal request, but also the request of everyone who signs this, to bring a Chic-fil-a to the Dekalb/Sycamore/NIU area. The area is desperate for some good quality chicken, with only a Popeyes to really compete against, it should be an easy market to open up into.
