A Chiari malformation is a problem in which a part of the brain (the cerebellum) at the back of the skull bulges through a normal opening in the skull where it joins the spinal canal. This puts pressure on parts of the brain and spinal cord, and can cause mild to severe symptoms.

I would like chiari malformation to be recognised as a disability and doctors to be able to help better with this condition as many doctors do not even know what this rare condition is.

I'm asking to list chiari malformation as a disability.

I'm asking for better education for doctors on chiari malformation as many have never heard of  it.

Many people's lives are affect by this leaving many people unable to work or function correctly, many people are living in constant pain and discomfort this condition can cause lots of symptoms that are very unpleasant.

May I add there is no cure for this condition, only medication and brain surgery but again after these the condition doesn't ever go away there is no cure!
