Every day, every year children are hurt or killed by dogs that are chained or penned  in yards. Dogs are euthanized because they have not been socialized and are left chained in backyards which in turn makes them crazy. Dogs are left in the cold oftentimes, without shelter, water or food. these dogs rarely get any type of healthcare which results in heartworm or other life threatening illnesses.
