The Portland International Raceway violates local noise ordinances and operates both day and night, exceeding proposed neighborhood noise ordinances of 65db. The people of Kenton's quality of life are affected unfairly. We'd like solutions to be explored by the Portland Parks Commission who owns and operates the track, and commit to sound results to reduce the noise, either by installing some type of sound barrier or limit the track's operation times and calendar.
