I know this year has been challenging and disruptive especially between Mid March and May/early to mid June and in some cases early July for businesses including retail stores, restaurants, fitness among forcing shutdowns in MA due to Covid 19. It has many numerous businesses to have setbacks and some to have to go out of business during a 2 to 3 month closure. Our businesses need to stay open especially during the busy holiday season. Retail stores are totally essential and Need to stay open during the holiday season. Restaurants whose wait staff relying on tips lost their revenue during the 3 month suspension of in person dining were also hit hard. It is important that we keep retail stores open during the busy holiday season at least so they can survive going into 2021 and restaurants need to stay open as long as possible so they can survive going into 2021. I know many holiday strolls and festivals have had to be cancelled or be reimagined due to this pandemic. We have 3 vaccines that are 90 to 95 effective due to be approved by FDA in the next couple of weeks and be distributed. I along with many are asking that we do not have any more shutdowns in MA and begin phase 4 between December 7th and December 15th.
