The senior graduating class of 2021 at MCPHS in Boston is scheduled to graduate in early May. Unlike MCPHS, other colleges in our area are hosting a normal in-person graduation with guests allowed to be in attendance. MCPHS has decided to host the graduation for 2020 and 2021 graduates in August. The ceremony will also most likely prohibit guests to attend to see all of our hard work and achievements. We are petitioning The Commencement Task Force to reconsider their decision regarding graduation for all the 2021 seniors. The graduating class has worked hard like no other during these challenging times. Graduating college is a huge accomplishment that deserves to be acknowledged. The graduating class deserves to have an authentic graduation ceremony similar to those of other colleges are currently having. The extra effort demanded for the graduating class to reach this achievement should not be commemorated with something lackluster. I am asking all of you to help my fellow students and I have an in person graduation near our completion date in May with guests allowed to attend.
