My name is Kurt Bellefontaine, I’m 15 and live in the state of Massachusetts. I have my Firearms ID, however, with no one else in my family having a Firearms ID or LTC, it makes it impossible for me to get ammunition, or even a long rifle. I know, as a 15 year old, my voice means absolutely nothing to anyone. I’m just looking to get some signatures, and hopefully Governor Baker will help me with this issue. 

My thinking is that, with Parental Permission, whether or not the parent has a FID or LTC, minors under the age of 18 would be allowed to purchase long guns, and ammunition. That way, not just any kid can go get a rifle, a shotgun or ammo. But anyone who has a FID and parental permission can purchase these items. I have my FID so I can hunt with a shotgun. Neither of my parents have their LTC or FID, so I do not have the ability to get access to these items which are needed to successfully hunt.
