It’s already been said in the past by them that the name ain’t changing due to the OKAY from loyal customers so i’m making this petition to get the name changed and have them be held accountable for lack of representation in the workplace. Charles Sole and Fabi changed the name of local Pueblo Colorado coffee shop from The Daily Grind to The Hanging Tree in 2017. It still has the name here in 2020 and is still a huge part of the now city culture. He changed the name on the premise of never being happy with the original name but was okay renaming it to this?‬ Renaming the establishment after a local tree by the same name that used to stand in that area is not eclectic and it’s also insensitive. They also hire based on a criteria that is definitely exclusionary, and have yet to see BIPOC representation.
