Boulder prides itself in being a leader in environmental policies.  But many other cities have non-polluting natural gas and electric buses - New York, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Ft. Worth, Dallas, San Francisco, San Diego, Atlanta and many others.  Denver Airport has natural gas busses.  RTD just deployed electric busses in downtown Denver.  But RTD sends polluting diesel buses to Boulder.  This includes the new Flatiron Flyer buses that are a poor substitute for the rail system we were, and continue to be, taxed to create.

At the very least, RTD can send us buses that do not spew soot and deadly nitrogen oxide.
