The August Senate Recess is coming up soon but the US senate has yet to pass the For the People's act/the Manchin update before the crucial deadline of August 16th when the Census Bureau releases the 2020 data and thus the Republican states will start their partisan gerrymandering. Thus Majority Leader Schumer, you must suspend the Senate Recess till voting rights have been passed like how Senators Merkley and Warnock have suggested.  

I know that Senator Sinema has stated that she won't stay for the suspended recess but please do it anyway. Voting Rights are far too important to allow a single Senator refuse to do their job because they have vacation plans when our democracy is in danger because of the Republicans. 

We must prove to the US people that the Democrats are serious about protecting minorities' rights to vote as well as dare the Democratic senators that are hesitant to reform the Filibuster that they don't get a break till they protect our Democracy. Or at the very least show to those senators' constituents that they didn't truly care about protecting their constituents' right to vote and allow them to be primaried.
