Cardiff Council have brought in charges from the 1st of July for contractors or trade persons to have to pay to park in zonal areas in Cardiff. 
The charges will be between £8 a day and £60 a month and you will get a parking fine if you don’t have a permit.

The permits have to be obtained through the Cardiff Council website. They are digital ones and not everybody has got the technology to get a permit. 
It will be economically bad for the areas involved because homeowners will have to pay more to have work done at the property - if they can even get a contractor to come and assess the work necessary.

The charge will also apply to all Landlords doing any work to a property they own
